The “Turkish” Coffee

For those that know me you know that I don’t drink coffee. But yesterday…:D I had this really really really strong coffee called “turkish coffee” which I am told is up there if not higher than espresso shot. I did not just have just a shot of it like normal people do but rather a whole cup of this monster in a cup.

I was bouncing off the walls like crazy it was fun so I might get another shot of this so called “Christian crack” tomorrow We’ll see…

well today marks the “official” first day of school. (ya!!!)

I kinda feel like a geek for saying but whatever.  Hehehe

I’ve been waiting to get back to this, since i have know life apart from school:), but also i just love studying the Word.

Hey y’all,

I know its been a couple of days but things have been a little busy. Well Friday night we went to the ‘Western Wall’ which i would have pictures of, if it were not for the fact that the sabbath had already started. And they don’t allow you to take pictures on the sabbath apparently.

The western wall is significant in that it give the people a place to pray toward.  For when Solomon had built the temple he prayed that God would hear the people if they would turn toward the temple and pray and this wall is the closest thing to that for the people.

Sett’n the example (hehehe)

So yesterday we had registration and an orientation for the school which are good things. But between the time change and my body not wanting to adjust to the time here staying awake for these is a very difficult thing. Well good news is that I am signed up for all my classes. The bad news is that after lunch I came home to take a nap, in good hopes that I could stay awake for orientation and supposing one of the guys at the apartment would wake me up. Last time I do that, you know the whole supposing thing. But I do have to admit the guys were good to me as one of my room mates came back and woke me up for dinner.

The look

In every good story there is always a driving force behind the hero of the story. This force is where the hero derives their strength and this strength in this always seen in the hero’s eyes. It is the “look”. In our walk with God I believe that it’s the same thing. When one is living the victorious life in Christ, as they walk in truth and strength, they get the look. The look comes in many forms depending on the personality of the person but always consists of the same thing, the look of a gentle lamb and a bold lion at the same time. This is because when we live a the victorious life we do the same thing Jesus did and He is the lion and the lamb.
